Haven't heard 'pump the breaks' used in everyday speech, ever. Em says it in a track, and suddenly kids have been saying it for a years.. Funny how that happens, isn't it?
Pump the breaks has been Detroit slang for years.........
Guess thats how Em got around to saying it becasue everybody says it 'round here...Either pump the breaks or Pump YO breaks if someobody is out of line, like if someobdy say Fuck You....You'd be like "Whoa nigga pump yo breaks, fo you get fucked up"...
