You only get what you put into it... and sometimes thats not much
but the touch i felt was beutiful so ill keep running even if its with a crutch
thank you for the moments n such, but i don't need you to hold my hand....
specially since you don't want it, and that i don't seem to understand
but ill live at large even if you're at grande and we can't stand together
side by side embracing our issues... cause now you cant feel mine
and the skys turend grey, and you just seem to fade you with time
so lets unravel what has been intertwined... or just give me a fucking sign
so i can continue on my way and hope for a better life line
i break down and then grow... pheonix rising sometimes slow
i know some things that other's don't, and sometimes i just dont show
but i gotta know n' let these fires build up,erect some interjecting thoughts
brought on by my feind lust or whatever seems to break the crust
but i know i must so ill try to show and seek what need be
even if im knee deep ill continue to weep and cry, show joy and glee
till the rain clears and you're standing with me and a pocketfull of clarity
but this calamity keeps that from happening so now im asking....
....why am i bathing in hatred and tears... i thought we shared our fears?
but now my peers grow apart and you found a new spark its clear
and i see my worst fears... you lie to me and tell me im dark
but ill forever have my own light even if you aint feeding it
so i hope you enjoyed being in it...
cause i love every second of bleeding and sucseeding... till you quit
